Engaging Young Adults in Social Justice

Our Mission

ASJP’s mission focuses on enhancing social justice interests and awareness among young adults through the gospel message and collaboration with members of the Marianist Family who strive for justice. We recognize that young adults are oftentimes underserved in parish and faith group settings, yet remain a tremendous resource of experience and leadership for our Marianist future.

Why is the Marianist Family Called to Work on This Issue?

Inspired by our Marianist foundress, Adele de Batz de Trenquelléon, we engage young adults toward deeper involvement in the Marianist Family, particularly in social justice efforts. Any “young adult” who lives in or is intrigued by the Marianist spirit is welcome to participate in ASJP events. We define a young adult as anyone between 22-39 years of age. ASJP invites recent alumni from University of Dayton, St. Mary’s University, and Chaminade University to join in ASJP events in hopes that new graduates will become familiar with what the Marianist Family has to offer for young adults after college.
